Theatre Arts - Spring semester - Students are exposed to many aspects of the Theatre Arts, such as staging, theatre history, mime, improvisation, creative movement, playwriting, directing, and acting.  The semester culminates in performances of "Wacky Fairy Tales" for District Pre-school and Elementary classes.

Performing Arts -  Fall semester - In this class, students explore creative and critical thinking skills through the performing arts.  Acting, singing, dancing are all a part.  Students perform in the annual CMJH Thunderbird Cafe' Cabaret, sharing all they have discovered and by the end of the semester they are prepared to audition with a resume, song, monologue selected especially for them.

Musical Theatre - Full year- Broadway here we come!  This class gives students a chance to put it all together.....singing, acting and they perform in a musical that is produced during the school day.

Choir/Thunderbird Singers - Full year - Calling all singers!  This great group meets daily and gives singers the opportunity to express themselves through music.  This group performs at least three times per semester, participates in Solo & Ensemble as well as prepares for auditions for the wonderful CMHS Choirs.

Show & Jazz Choir/THUNDER - This is an audition-only group for students who love to sing & dance.  Rehearsals are on Tuesdays & Thursdays during ACCESS.  Auditions are held in May for current 6th & 7th graders interested in participating in the fall.  Students new to CMJH in the fall, interested in auditioning, should see Mrs. Gilbreth about auditions.
