Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School serves students in Grades 7 and 8, and is nestled at the base of Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our collective commitment is to the cognitive and social development of your adolescent child and to provide a safe learning environment anchored in positive relationships and self-advocacy.
Current 7th graders may be interested in applying for 8th grade honors courses for the 2015-16 school year. Students must apply for honors courses and meet a set of criteria. If you have not yet purchased a CMJH yearbook, now is the time. From Jan. 19th through Jan. 30th, yearbooks are specially priced at $35.00. After Jan. 30th, yearbook prices will go up!!! Congratulations to all 7th and 8th graders who earned "Honor Roll" distinction for achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher first semester. Click HERE to see the complete list. We will be honoring these students at our annual Honor Roll breakfast on Jan. 29th for 8th graders and Jan. 30th for 7th graders. The certificate presentation and breakfast will run from 7:45-8:30 AM each day. The actual breakfast is only for the students, but family members are invited to come if they wish. Again, congratulations T-Birds on your accomplishment!!!
The spring administration of state-mandated assessments for 7th and 8th grade students will require modifications to the CMJH schedule on several days between March and May.
